(10,495 posts)You don't care that we live under corporate rule. You don't care that companies like BP can ruin our environment and avoid paying the full costs. You don't care that the networks use the public airwaves to brain wash the under-educated and those too busy working to survive this terrible and hard world.
You want Hillary for your own reasons and beliefs, I get that, but ignore the past history and anything that doesn't make her look good. I believe that had their positions been reversed and Hillary have had to contend with the extra hurdles that Bernie did you would be crying foul! I agree that the Republicans have never been fair to her, but she has not been attacked by her own Party like Bernie has. Before you start with Bernie is not a real Democrat shtick, his policies have always been soundly based in Democratic principles. I respect that you believe she is best for us, in that I must respectfully disagree.
He will help Hillary defeat Trump. He will also try to hold her feet to the fire to stick to policies that restore Representative Democracy rather than the quid pro quo she owes for all of the money she has taken in. I know, she says the money has no effect on her, they all do. You believe her when she says it, but I do not!
Bernie's campaign was not just to seek the WH, but to advance the agenda of the 99%. To do that under the system we have now is impossible without a political revolution. He/we will continue to try to advance that revolution. I believe that Hillary will become President and we will see what she does, but our political revolution will continue. You will get what you want so I would urge you to focus on the General and leave Bernie to do his thing. You obviously don't care about what he stands for, but he is no longer a direct threat to your chosen candidate and her ambitions!
