These points were all spot-on. Glad he was in there! See, Donald? WE can "twitter-war" YOU, TOO! But our tweets actually have the advantage of being accurate.
I look forward to hearing from him next week, and having him remind everybody what really counts. I'm SO GLAD to have him on our team! I think he might prove to be invaluable in the future.

Particularly farther downrange, once we get past the 2016 election season and into the next midterm election. The midterms are where Democrats traditionally fall down on the job, don't bother to turn out to vote, don't see it as a critical or vital thing to do, don't recognize or realize how important it is NOT to slack off. And guess what ALWAYS happens? The other guys turn out, reliably and predictably, and they mess up whatever gains we made two years earlier. The last two midterm elections were where we inadvertently helped to midwife the teabagger movement, lost the Senate, and failed to make any real inroads in the House. IF WE'RE TO GET ANYTHING ACCOMPLISHED, OR ANYTHING FIXED, WE HAVE TO TURN OUT DURING THE MIDTERMS, TOO! NOT just during Presidential election years.
I'm hoping Bernie Sanders can make a profound and substantial difference there. Hopefully so especially in 2018 - because that's when HE runs for his own reelection. So we'll be hearing more from him in that cycle, too. He'll have a much larger presence because of what he built this year.
