I think that Hillary's speech was just MEH

21. David Brooks said it was 'weak', but I don't agree.

That's the best I've ever seen Hillary, easily. She was ready for this moment.

Brooks also mouthed some garbage about her speaking in a "steady drone", but I think maybe he wrote that talking point earlier, because tonight it was not true. She varied her voice levels, and "went quiet" for a few particular points, which causes the crowd to quiet down and LISTEN-- much more variety than before. It's possible there's been some voice coaching as some of us had recommended in the past.

Hope I don't get flamed for this, I've never criticized her dress-- but I really liked her in the white tonight-- no weird colors to distract from what she was going to say. It also suggested she was the "white knight" coming to save us from the Dark-Lord Donald TRUMP, and his midnight-in-America henchmen!

All in all, she was better than I expected-- both in content and in delivery.

She did a pretty good job of taking down Donald Trump, but I need to go listen to that part again, I had some distractions here...
