11. "Don't make perfect the enemy of the good"

 

I heard that phrase months ago and I think it's the best way to sum it up. It's one of those life lessons we all realize (or should) at some point, that life isn't perfect or even always fair but you have to find the good wherever it is and latch on to it so you can survive the day. I like the cards analogy you used.

We get to the top of the mountain not in one giant leap but in a series of steps.
