It's most likely that the recount will stop tomorrow morning based on the state appeals court ruling and will then be appealed to the MI Supreme Court. I think they're 5-2 Republican, so the chances are not great.

The final decision will be up to the state judge. Federal sided with trump to halt it, but jmg257 Dec 2016 #10
