116. Thanks for the welcome

I decided to really question the value of my friendships and realized they were actually acquaintances. Maybe long term acquaintances but sadly, very sadly not true friends. I just can't be friends with a person who cares so little for other people, the environment and just about everything else that is important to me. I am not willing to "shut up about all that political shit"' just to make them comfortable. I'd rather be alone. Sometimes you have to empty the cup before it can be filled with something really good.
