Folks in these communities know that she's taken money from the wrong groups and lobbyists. The Prison for Profit thing hits African American and Hispanic families the hardest. "So we have to go vote for a candidate who helps lock our families and neighbors up to help rich people profit?"
They don't need someone to tell them this, either. No nasty politics required. They already know.
If we have ANY chance of winning the General, we've gotta have a candidate who they will come out and vote for with enthusiasm. They aren't going to vote for someone who has the image of being rich and out of touch. If they don't show, we've got no chance in 2016. None.
(apologies for being so blunt)
