7. I worked full time going to college

I think it is good to a point. However, it depends on what you want to miss out. I missed a ton of parties and hanging out but in the big thing of life is that enough not to work? I don't know. Sometimes I wonder how it would have been not to work and just have fun. It is on my mind from time to time. But overall I was better off because I had no loans. This was from 1988-1992 for Bachelors at Florida State and then 1998-2000 for MBA at George Washington which was not cheap. It definitely is an individual decision and the long term effects will always be different. 10 hours a week doesn't seem unreasonable but are their enough jobs on campus for every student to work? Probably not.
