It wasn't snark, actually. I'm pointing out that you are ready to adopt other people's impressionseven if something purports to be a dry recitation of facts it's going to include or be framed by the writer's impressionsrather than form your own firsthand. I'm sorry, that is a very valid point.
The subject of Benghazi might seem to have been beaten to death but this Trey Goudy & Co treatment was a whole new approach to the material. I saw it live, and it was riveting, and I think it will be referred to in, and form a context for, a lot of what happens in future. Be dismissive if you like, but people who saw it will have the firsthand memory of it. You'll have the reviews.
