He has repeatedly declined to be a nominee on the Democratic ticket for either Representative or Senator in Vermont. So now he is a Democrat (because you HAVE to be a Democrat to be included on the NH ballot for the Democratic primary). Or did he say "for now"?

I truly wonder if he will retain the Democratic label if he does not win the nomination. Next time he runs for reelection in Vermont, will he run as a Democrat? Actually, can we change him from I to D in the Senate right now?? Or was this just ... as is so often charged here of other candidates ... just "pandering"?

I don't really care, but the statement that Sanders was not a Democrat were absolutely true until today.
