This was when I asked him what he thought of the election season so far. Just a flat statement of fact. Period. I admit I decided not ask why or encourage him to. Shrugging at the heat radiated by reactionary Southern white relatives doesn't mean a lifetime of Fox News in the background hasn't had its effect.

That said, if ONLY they'd vote!
