It would be suggesting that Al Gore, Bill Clinton's VP, who knows Hillary Clinton more than almost anyone in politics was so much more likely to endorse anyone against her -- that Gore, one of the most conservative Democrats when in office was EXPECTED to endorse Bernie Sanders.
Note that in 2008, Gore endorsed Obama only in mid June 2018 -- after the primaries ended with Obama having more delegates than Hillary Clinton. This suggests that he was stayed neutral and then endorsed the nominee. The difference this year is that everybody and their grandmother are endorsing HRC.

Why would he endorse Bernie Sanders? We keep hearing that Bernie Sanders isnt a Democrat.
