1. Being the mother of a victim gives people perceived moral authority, but doesn't make their morality right.
2. She should feel however she wants to feel.
3. It doesn't take "moral standing" to rebuke anything. If you want to rely on perceptions of morality for arguments, the Republican Party is looking for members.
I'm lamenting the fact that a known race baiter is the Democratic Party's standard bearer, being endorsed all of the establishment and even by some progressive organizations and figures.
Some may be doing it because she is by far and away the most likely winner, and some because they believe she will be the ones to meet their interests best, but it makes me sad that the Democratic Party establishment has essentially said someone who used racial code language in their most recent campaign, to say nothing of their earlier career, is who they want representing the party. That's a very sad testament to the ideological health of the Party, to say the least. And, as this is the primaries forum, I thought I would bring it up in a thread where someone with perceived moral authority by many on the left has endorsed someone that threw black people under the bus when convenient.
