3. ADD/ADHD is a very difficult claim to get approved.

I have done extensive SSDI/SSI work for over a decade. In adults, ADD/ADHD is rarely granted, without other impairments. With kids, it’s a little less rare, but even so it is granted in kids most often in conjunction with other impairments.

The standard requires an inability to work for at least 12 months due to the impairment(s).
