who lost their homes and resettled them all over the country. Most of them never returned to Louisiana, but the corporate investors sure did. They bought up the abandoned property for pennies on the dollar and built luxury hotels for the tourism trade, a new business center, theaters, a convention center, restaurants, grand homes for those who could afford them.

Corporate investors could do the same thing in Puerto Rico.
