This isnt about bold progressive positions or winning a debate or being the most charismatic. Democratic voters simply want to win back the WH. Joe Biden is the one people feel most comfortable with to do that. Mostly based on who he is.
I suppose perhaps if he commits some huge gaffes in the debates, that might cause some concern but short of that he's a lock... imo.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Not at all. Most of the others will be vying for VP spot. Bernie will never be Biden's VP choice.
