they are going to pack the courts no matter what.

Not impeaching feeds the narratives that the dems are weak & that there aren't any differences between the two parties. Voters gave the House to the dems to hold this administration accountable. If the House punts this back to the voters in 2020, there could be a backlash of poor morale & low turnout.

Trump will claim victory no matter what. No conviction in the Senate & he will say he was exonerated. No impeachment investigations at all & he will say even the dems didn't believe he was guilty. We're pretty much damned if we do & damned if we don't.

Considering how compromised our electoral process is, & how corrupt the other side is, I don't know if I could have written the dem party in a worse position.
