4. Have to say, I'm surprised at Beto's crash and burn

Despite what anyone says, the man has the 'it' factor when he appears at his rallies and social meets. I didn't find the Vanity Fair spread offensive; it anything it was a continuation of the star treatment that frankly O'Rourke had earned in Texas. He's grown as a candidate, adding substance, policy and a more controlled/relaxed manner in his delivery.

That being said, I think there was a concerted effort to diminish O'Rourke by various factions. You add that to the media's inattention and you have a very good candidate lagging in the polls. It's going to difficult for O'Rourke to bring it back; he needs a standout moment in the vein of his NFL statement during the Senate race. But if he's able to grab that lightening in a bottle a second time, there's no question IMHO that he'd be in the top tier.

We shall see.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
