(15,512 posts)Joe's going to get hit where he's most vulnerable and has the most to lose, in this case, his relationship to the AA community and the perception of his electability, both of which are handily damaged by this latest word flip-out. Booker's role is regretable but if it wasn't him it would be someone else. And of course Sanders signs on, that's a given. So if Joe thought twice or thrice about getting into this I can understand why. It's not going to get any easier.
Buttigieg is facing what appears to be a long-standing out-of-control police corruption in a position where he has absolutely no room to maneuver, i.e. live TV, in the middle of a campaign. I don't know how he keeps the campaign going but if he temporarily suspends it he's ending on a high note and keeping his options open so I wish him luck.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
