I looked for an article that said DNC is selling tickets to the debate, and couldn't find anything.

What I did find is that the venue holds 2,200 people, local Democratic Party leaders can go to one of the two nights if they choose, and a pool of tickets was left to the university for distribution to faculty and staff. Some people have been invited to attend.

2,200 seats is not a lot for an event like this.

The DNC is raffling off a pair of tickets through the democrats.org website, too.
