8. There was an incident in my county a few years back.

The dash camera of a sheriff's department patrol car caught 3 White cops plummeting a Black man. To top things off, they logged several offenses against him, including assaulting police officers. The camera showed otherwise. That obviously caused a big row locally, the elected sheriff was forced to resign and a decorated, Black retired FBI agent was appointed acting sheriff. Needless to say, there was some housecleaning at that department, but the situation was stabilized. All three cops were fired and I think two were convicted of assaulting the Black man. The third was acquitted, but if I remember no longer can serve as a police officer anywhere.

Now my county is a red republican led county, but my hat is off to how forcefully politicians and prosecutors handled that situation.

I think that Buttigieg's presidential run is over, but he can come back from this situation. Unfortunately time is not on his side, I think the election for the next Mayor is later this year. His situation, like I pointed out and will do again, is why up and coming politicians need to keep their ear to the ground within every community and take complaints voiced to them seriously.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
