In reply to the discussion: Biden Lands Endorsement From Atlanta Mayor Bottoms [View all]Perseus
(4,341 posts)I don't understand it, for so many years so many people have been praising the benefits and the need to have a progressive candidate, and now there seems to be an infatuation with Biden, a man who is past his prime, past his time, and as Swalwell pointed out, should be passing the torch.
Three big mistakes he made last night, the biggest was his support for the NRA which I expect him to walk back any time now, and his "Oh, come on" answer when Bennet pointed out his failed "negotiation" with "Mitch".
Biden is the least progressive candidate we have, and for some reason people think he is going to help relive the Obama era, but he won't, he doesn't have the same character as Obama, and he has cozy up to republicans for too long. It is a fantasy to believe he can "negotiate" with republicans, if one thinks so then people have not been paying attention, there is nothing republicans will negotiate with Democrats unless it is a total win for republicans, and Joe is not the man to do it, he and "Mitch" had "negotiations" and Joe lost, that he wants too make it look like a win? I understand, but like Bennet pointed out, we are still suffering from Joe and "Mitch' "negotiation".
I am sorry to hear he is getting that endorsement.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
