(6,137 posts)and I see no difference in his policies vs Clinton. Never mind he voted for the war in iraq which indicates lack of independent thinking. Like most dems, I adore Biden. But I do not believe he can beat trump. Maybe only with a clever choice of VP. Primarily because he has no appeal to independent voters. Hell get some moderate never trumpers instead. Media is not interested in him. Trump will get 24/7 coverage. He is not appealing to young voters. IMO, Warren has better shot at exciting the base and strong appeal to independents. I think Warren would get the most out of dem base in the general and a huge chunk of registered voters with no party affiliation. Shell get zero never trumpers votes. Harris and Buttigieg are in question but can be useful tools for VP if they dont win the primary.
If Biden wins the nomination, he should choose Stacey Abrams as VP. Harris is reserved for AG - we need to to prosecute everyone one of GOP crimes.
