(92,155 posts)so. It also wasn't the only administration that felt Shokin should be fired. In fact most Western leaders were largely united in seeking Shokin's removel because he would not puruse corruption cases aggressively.
That view was shared by ambassadors to Ukraine under Bill Clinton, George bush, and most U.S. government experts on Ukraine. He was not doing his job, and they all agreed with the VP that the U.S. government would not extend loand guarantees to Ukraine unless he was removed.
In other words, that was the U.S. policy, and most of the Western leaders view.
It had nothing to do with Biden's son. The republicans want to pursue this as a distraction.
I say bring it all out in the open, and while we are at it let's bring out everything on trump and his administration.
This time the media better do their job, and not play this like they did the Benghazi tragedy, or the email distortions, and actually report the facts
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
