No matter how much I've shown my remorse or the number of times that I apologized, that person will continue to bring up those actions against me when we have disagreements. There comes a point that I had to accept that nothing I had to say would alleviate the situation. Finally, I remembered this prayer so that I didn't have to feel the burden of guilt:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
I believe that Biden has shown his remorse to Anita Hill, but he also knows that there isn't anything he can do that will change the situation or make Anita Hill feel better. There is where the last line of that prayer is relevant for Biden. I think that the rest of us should take some guidance from the last line since none of the posts in this thread are going to change anything.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
