(2,397 posts)He was the only candidate who significantly beat Trump in head to head polls but was treated unfairly by the DNC. A lot of his campaign issues ended up being endorsed by other Democrats and as part of the Democratic platform. Whether he calls himself an Independent, a Democrat, or a Democratic Socialist, his fight has always been against income inequality.
Just for the record, he has filed to run as a Democrat in the 2020 Presidential election. In his statements about the Russian sanctions, he was in favor of the sanctions against Russia but not those against Iran, which were in the same bill. He voted against the bill because sanctions against Iran were included in the same bill.
I cant believe hes still being trashed three years after the last election. Hes not my first choice this time around, but the more unfair criticism he gets, the more his supporters want to defend him. Its not good to continue to sow discord. This is a divisive issue so why continue fighting it?
