A direct conflict of interest with the corporate media conglomerates more concerned about themselves than which polices would be best for the American Nation.
They did the same thing to Al Gore, they trashed him but it was because he was the primary political champion for opening the Internet to the American People, thereby democratizing information and the corporate media conglomerates saw this as a threat not only to their bottom line but a diminishing of their powers to influence the American People to their corporate-centric point of view.
