(11,122 posts)Oh, I know that his main desire is to prove that Hillary was a terrible candidate. I know that posters have said that they know their family members who voted for trump and that they are really wonderful people. You can't be counted in with "wonderful people" if you choose the candidate who started his candidacy by calling Mexicans rapists. Or if you choose the candidate who grabs women's genitals. Or if you choose the candidate who locks children in cages. Or the candidate who mimics handicapped people.
If you choose that candidate over the most decent and most qualified candidate who ever ran for the office, you have to have a reason. If you are racist, or homophobic, or sexist, then those would be your reasons. The only other reason would be that you are pitifully, pathologically stupid. No, not confused or misled. Stupid.
I too have relatives that voted for trump. They pretend they are not racists. But it always comes out eventually. The pretend they aren't sexist, but just ask their wives.
Sorry. Bernie is pandering to the same people that the republicans welcomed into their party because it might help them win.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
