You can think something will have disastrous consequences while still thinking it's the right thing to do.

Pretty sure his point is the same as it's been the whole time: Candidates should focus on promoting their vision to the voters. Those involved in the impeachment should do their jobs.

He's been saying this for months. It's unfortunate that this is coming back up again. It really affects nothing but as you saw it's something that can be used to stir up a bunch of pointless arguing.

The house will proceed and the Senate will next. The rest of this is sound and fury.
