She improved the Democrats margin.
It isn't reasonable to expect his numbers to have dropped to zero. Some people will always find reasons to excuse or dismiss his racism, even if they are minorities.
And who exactly would have done better than HRC among Latinos? Bernie Sanders? The whole reason she won the nomination is because she totally crushed him among minority voters. Maybe that will change in this election, but in 2016 he struggled with these groups.
