California is an odd place to be knocking wine caves. Wine caves/cellars/grottoes are everywhere. Most wineries have one.
"Wine caves are subterranean structures for the storage and the aging of wine. They are an integral component of the wine industry worldwide. The design and construction of wine caves represents a unique application of underground construction techniques.
The storage of wine in extensive underground space is an extension of the culture of wine cellar rooms, both offering the benefits of energy efficiency and optimum use of limited land area. Wine caves naturally provide both high humidity and cool temperatures, which are key to the storage and aging of wine."

Roughly 325,000 people are employed in the wine industry in California. Bernie is criticizing something that is integral to these worker's jobs. Degree of ornateness and bankroll of ownership notwithstanding.

"We don't go to rich people's wine caves..." Bernie says, invoking the 'working class.' Says who? Wine tours are open to anyone. Many of the wineries on the tour are owned by 'rich people.' And hitting the tasting room, which the Hall winery cave basically is, is always the highlight.
He's very off base here with this class warfare crapola.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
