(2,848 posts)He has the same base of support as last time, and he is going to alienate Warren's supporters if he goes scorched earth on her (which it looks like he is doing). Biden is going to beat him the same way that Hillary beat him, with the same constituency.
I just hope that he gets thumped hard enough this time that he will shut the fuck up when April rolls around and he doesn't have any mathematical way of winning the nomination. We don't need another divisive Hail Mary for a brokered convention to overturn the primary contests.
I have preferences for certain candidates in this race (Warren and Yang, specifically) but I will vote for whoever is the front runner when my state's primary rolls around (i.e. probably Biden) because most of all, I support a smooth transition to the general election. I'll take any of them over that fucking hun currently squatting in the white house.
