109. Please stop saying "purity test" That isn't it.

I don’t think those “Bernie or no one” voters are doing themselves any favors.

Maybe Not but vote shaming has NEVER worked.

I think you should stop calling this a purity test" as that really misses how those voters see this.

Imagine if you were given a house. That's great, right? Now imagine that house is rotting from within from black mold, you will have to pay thousands in back taxes. And there's no working bathroom.
Are you being picky for not wanting this free" house"? Is a working bathroom a purity test? At what point is this house only a temporary reprieve from being homeless again?

Sure you can say your candidate isn't' like that. But millions of people disagree. Millions of people don't' feel they can vote to get rid of Trump if it only means a new trump will just come down the line 4 years later when things are even worse. Millions of Americans think the other Democratic candidates are that house. Maybe pretty on the outside but can we afford the final cost. Brushing that off as a "purity test" tells these people you really don't care what why they vote for whom they do. And if you don't' care about them, why should they listen to you?

Remember, in 2016, thousands of voters voted in swing states but left the Presidential vote blank.

We can scream and whine about how wrong that is. But unless we accept WHY that is, we will keep losing.

It's not on the voters to blindly accept that house because things could be worse. It's up to the candidate to convince the voters why they aren't' that house. It happens that Sanders has been the best at doing that.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
