Democratic Primaries

(9,863 posts)Obama's claim to fame was as a "community organizer". He was a short term Senator and had nothing on his legislative resume that I can recall. Clinton was Gov of Arkansas and his only "accomplishment" of note that he touted during the primaries that I can recall was that Arkansas education improved during his tenure as Gov. I do think Mayor Pete is a much more accomplished speaker on policy than O'Rourke and would not lump them together, but many of the other candidates do not have much they can hand their hats on either.
Harris seems like a fine candidate, but in her short time in the Senate what is her list of accomplishments? Certainly not as long a list as Klochubar or Gillebrand or some of the others. So why is Harris in the lead? (at least here on DU).
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
