Democratic Primaries

(1 post)Dated, failed, election strategy. But this place keeps arguing for it? I find it so fascinating.
Sanders gives us the greatest chance for the Obama effect. Playing it safe with Gore, Kerry and Hillary was just a losing strategy. That is what would happen with Biden. Obama was painted as a black radical socialist and I think that was part of his appeal. People wanted a progressive powerhouse. People then grew frustrated that he was a crypto centrist which allowed Republicans to take advantage.
Apathy is the biggest danger to the Democrats.
Why do the Republicans always get to run far right wing candidates while Democrats are expected to run uninspiring centrists? "Electability" only applies to Democrats? Do you see who our current president is? How was he "electable"? The Democrats shouldn't be chasing after the mythical center. The Republicans don't. Democrats should be chasing after their base that skips out on these elections because they feel as though they aren't being represented. If Democrats actually vote, we win. Focus on voter turn out not uninspired candidates only running on a platform of "not trump".
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
