My "underlying prejudices" are against the conventional wisdom, self-dealing, campaign consultant class that attaches itself to these candidates and pulls big salaries, and doesn't seem to care about policy or winning. To the extant that Warren's campaign seems to be making a lot of decisions based on this kind of attitude, I have been disappointed with her run. when she speaks of protecting working people, reining in wall street corruption, taxing the grotesquely wealthy to make life slightly less shitty for everyone else, it feels like a fantastic, powerful sincere energy coming through. Hedging on those feelings feels (to me) like the consultant class coming through and screwing things up.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
