Consider how strongly you dislike them. The more strong your dislike the more charismatic they are. That's what I mean by negative charisma. Trump has massive charisma (to his followers) because he absolutely infuriates more people than any other politician ever has. Those who are committed to him, even if they never voted before, are ride or die for him. Democrats need to nominate someone who has positive, hopeful charisma that can bring in and unite the most people because that is the only way to defeat negative charisma. I hope that explains it better.
