Other than Reagan, Reagan & Bush 1, it hasn't occurred since FDR and Truman. Voters prefer a change every 8 years, so not sure all of it can be attributed to charisma alone.
While Trump was a terrible candidate, Hillary had to overcome being a third straight term.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
