Swine flu and bird flu, as well as MERS (2012) and SARS (2002) - latter 2 being corona virus diseases. Many countries learnt the process of protecting their citizens from those. And put them into good effect with COVID-19.
But America? Nope, lesson not learnt, care factor zero, preparedness factor zero.
But COVID-19? Do people really believe there will be no similar pandemics in the future? History says otherwise.
