All he really has to be a professional at is similar to a carnival barker or P.T. Barnum. I don't how many people here have been the victim of a confidence man, (or should that be person, now?) but they are extremely apt at what it takes to get people to believe things about themselves that are not true and they will use whatever skills they have in order to portray that effectively to get what they want.

In other words, if you don't know he's a confidence man, you are the mark. That's a truism that applies to this.

I think the malice is just an aside. His contempt is usually obvious, but it also plays into his character: you're fired! I don't think his malice is anything more than, perhaps, an enjoyment of vanquishing people; other than that, he doesn't really care about his base or the country that much, methinks, to make that a priority. I would say control and grabbing power, (and other things) is his MO. That's where his success in taking the Presidency and connections to various interests that support him behind the scenes come into play. He is not so much as a fluke as an outcome, IMHO. That is what really indicates what a danger he represents to democracy now.

I have written a lot about this here, but I don't want to go into depth right now. If you do some research online, you can trace his history, read articles that explore Trump's "will to power" and his connections and relationships with organized crime, Russia and the GOP's intentions. It is rather detailed and complex subject.

I would end with a note: realty TV show host. That really says more than it might seem to. It is a tip off.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
