This was actually a pretty creative idea. Let them take their shots and fire back while other Democrats are sniping at each other. Reasonable Democrats who might otherwise dismiss him for their preferred candidates will instead come to his support for comments like this.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
