6. I have no interest in trying to pick a winner this early...

and I do have a problem with the "one and only" supporters for various candidates. It does not bode well when you put all your hopes and dreams on one person and that one doesn't make it.

It's not like Trump vs Hillary in the general, where one of them is the unthinkable. Whoever wins the primary will disappoint some, but should be acceptable to all of us. My biggest, hopefully unfounded, fear is that one candidate wins a plurality in the primaries and has a floor fight at the convention, tempting too many supporters of others to stay home.

One thing we could learn from republicans is to follow the leadership at times. There's little evidence Trump caused them to stay home. (The first time, anyway)

BTW, there is almost no talk about the primaries at any of the local committee and fundraising meetings around here. Truth is, nobody gives a shit at all when we have local races to win. We're on a roll in the town and the county with some amazing women looking to take over.
