He has shown a toughness by not being bombastic about the release of tapes having to do with a police chief that was fired. I see that a lot different than some people making very wild assumptions. Each move he has made appears to be in the protection of his constituents and possible “whistleblowers.” It’s a tough position and I could see some politicians handling it in a way that would gain them favor over what is right.

He also seems to have hit a chord with major Democratic leaders over the last couple of years. He opens the door for them. He seems like a sponge just soaking up knowledge.
