(3,259 posts)He really does have some great accomplishments along with some really bad ones. One thing that cannot be argued against with any of them is that he is a leader.
I think a big part of the appeal with Biden is his extensive knowledge of the federal government. Trump has decimated agency after agency and Biden already knows the people to put in place to restore stability. He will also immediately garner respect on the world stage from out allies.
I cannot overlook some of Bidens really bad legislative moves. You will not see me excuse them. I do think he has learned and I also understand that he has to fall mostly in line with the party platform of today. That platform is more progressive than many give it credit for being. My final point in alleviating my concern about some of Bidens legislative history is that most of it will be formed by our members in the house.
