Democratic Primaries

Trump had no problem embracing what should have been the Democratic Slogan and he won the election with it. Yes, take back our slogan.
Do you really want to win? The issue that will get the winning votes is economic. Middle class kids will face a lifetime of debt when graduating from college. Remember that over 45,000 people die each year from lack of medicine and health care. Those dying are in the families of the working poor. No excuse for working poor. Good paying jobs, free education and REALLY
affordable healthcare are salvation to the working class.
"trump and his way back machine" which was a lie. Nothing wrong with undoing fifty years of pro super wealthy legislation and turning back the clock to when opportunity was available to the working poor. What Trump addressed in 2016 were the issues suffering the working class. His message was correct and his message should have been the Democratic Message in 2016. He was correct in identifying the need for good paying jobs. The problem was he told boldfaced lies. He had no intention of creating good paying jobs because he wanted to keep USA wages low and competitive.
"Plus do we really want to embrace trumps slogan?" Absolutely, positively. And make a lot of noise about doing what Trump had no intention of doing. The only way to beat Trump is to praise the idea of good paying jobs and then follow up. Prosperity or poverty are choices of the legislature. Pass laws rewarding job producing investments and pass laws to penalize stagnating investments like derivatives. Prosperity is a function of spending. Spending is the expertise of the middle class. Give them higher paying jobs and they will spend more money. That translates into positive capitalism utilizing money to create prosperity.
