(92,136 posts)depends on much more than how they are performing in these very early polls for the nomination, and from my perspective you cannot make a conclusion whether that person would make a good VP pick based on that.
When a VP choice is made, it is made after a person has been nominated, and what you are usually looking for is a person who will bring in support to areas where you are lacking.
By conventional wisdom for example, a blue state Democrat would choose a southern or midwestern choice, with the hope that it would help the ticket in the south or Midwest.
However, dynamics have changed, and gender, race, and other demographic considerations now have to be weighed.
What I am trying to say is that the choice of a VP for any candidate is not a trivial endeavor, and a lot of factors need to be considered
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
