the divisions of the past few years. And lets not kid ourselves, as much as he tried to bring us together, and often succeeded, Obama opened old racial divisions that Trump is now exploiting. I'm not blaming Obama for that-- our racial problems are enormous and I can't think of any superhero who could solve the problems overnight.

Biden fits the role as as elder statesman, Grandpa, counselor, healer... better than anyone else we have so far. Maybe he won't solve all the problems, perhaps no one can, but he can ease the pain.

But, and this is a big but, this is also a perfect time to pass the torch. We have an extraordinary new generation ready to take the reins and lead us into the future. Biden is from the past, while Harris, Pete, and others are the future.

Perhaps the dream team is Biden with Harris as VP. We have an uncorrupted man of experience with a black woman getting a few more years of executive experience and getting the nation used to the thought of a woman in the White House.

And, it would be irresponsible to ignore his age. He's in pretty good shape now, but things can happen fast when pushing 80. We need a VP who can take over and who he trusts to take over if needed.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
