Just remember, we WILL survive this.
I'm trying to change careers as well, but there's little out there that can't be offshored. And I can't fathom a country of 300 million plumbers and road pavers... though I wouldn't mind if I had time at the end of the day to relax and eat proper...
I screw up a lot of shit too. So does everybody, it's just that you don't get to know they do. I'm sure that you can do anything you want to do, just take it easy.
I get no feedback from my boss unless it's negative.
A friend who has her taxes done by another CPA in the office stopped in and it cheered me up. She's beating cancer and I couldn't be happier. She was one of the three attorneys who filed suit on behalf of the voters of Ohio after the 2004 election. She lost her job over it and nearly lost her law license, but that didn't stop her.
I get in trouble for my hours on a project and in trouble if I try to speed up and overlook something. I don't know what is acceptable to him and am afraid I'll end up out of a job.
