A Surprising Possibility for President......
This is a very interesting possibility that I haven't even bothered to consider, but frankly it makes a lot of sense:

I could vote for Richardson, and I think a Richardson/Edwards combo would be a knockout blow. At this point anyone is better than Bush.

2. New Mexico Governor
Was Energy Sec'y under Clinton. Good man, but I think he should stay Gov for now.

3. Bill seems to be a good man
but, uh, do ya think maybe we got enough choices? He'd be a great addition to any ticket but I think without an orchestrated draft movement that has been on the go for months like Clark's, he would be dead in the water.

4. I'd love him to be on the Dem ticket
the perfect running mate for Dean--great experience in international affairs and a Latino to boot.

5. No...
I saw Richardson in an interview last week. He said he is perfectly happy where he is, one of the few Goveners who isn't drowning in red ink. He definitely put that rumor to bed; in my mind anyway.

6. Yup, as soon as a Democratic candidate starts building momentum...

...and begins to look like a winner, the Democratic politicians stab him in the back. Whether Howard Dean has what it takes to be a good President remains to be seen, but he's proved to be a very savy candidate and I have no doubt he has the ability to whip Bush's hind parts in a debate and in the next election. But, sure enough, the Democratic Party will do whatever it takes to lose this election. Nine candidates weren't enough, they convinced Clark to throw his hat in the ring, even while they're talking Hillary, and now we find even that's not good enough, now they're looking at Richardson!

Tell me again, why are we the minority party? Why are we the laughing stock of the political world? To take back America We're going to first have to take back our party!
