Politics1.com has reported that Ben Nelson might vote with pukes. Please tell me that's not true.

2. Any Dem that does that needs to be IMMEDIATELY thrown out....
..it is bad enough that there are as many DINO's currently misrepresenting the Democratic party right now ( Lieberman, Biden, Fienstein) ...but to vote WITH the repiglicans on something as vital as this is grounds for ejection... :grr:

5. Strategy
It has been mentioned that the dems might actually vote for cloture in order to delay the vote on eliminating the filibuster. Gives them more time to line up the votes, especially if they let a couple through the door. This strategy has occurred to those middle moderates trying to solve this problem on their own.

6. He was just interviewd
on Bloomberg news. The sound was cracking up but what I could understand he is part of the group of 10 or so trying to work out a compromise. The compromise would allow the use of the filibuster under extraordinary circumstances. Who decides extraordinary? There was no indication that he was voting against the filibuster or for it though.

9. Why would he do that?
Why would someone in the minority vote against themselves to ever be able to stop the other side when they thought they were horribly WRONG?
